GoodUp and Social Handprint Join Forces

GoodUp and Social Handprint are joining forces to make social impact easier to organise, strengthen, activate and measure. Together, they are building one integrated ecosystem where volunteering, grants, funds, donations and impact insights come together.
This partnership marks an important step towards a new infrastructure for social value, enabling non-profits, businesses, foundations and governments to collaborate more effectively around societal impact. It supports the growing "cooperative revolution" that was highlighted by the Dutch Minister of the Interior during last year's We Doen Het Samen Festival.
Today, many organisations still rely on separate systems for volunteering, fund management, grants and donations, procurement, SROI, crowdfunding and impact reporting. This fragmentation creates unnecessary administrative burdens and limits visibility into the social value being created collectively.
By combining their strengths, GoodUp and Social Handprint bring together three essential elements within one ecosystem:
Money — grants, funds, donations and crowdfunding.
People — volunteers, employees, citizens and community initiatives.
Impact — insights into social value, outcomes and the SDGs.
For impact organisations, this creates easier access to volunteers, businesses, funds and community partners. Businesses gain more opportunities to engage employees around ESG, volunteering, giving, social impact and responsible procurement. Municipalities, provinces and foundations gain better tools to measure social value and to organise, manage and report on social programmes more effectively.
Over the past years, Social Handprint has built a strong position in impact measurement, social value and impact giving. GoodUp develops technology for employee engagement, volunteering, fundraising, giving and community activation. The broader ecosystem also includes Voor je Buurt and The Social Handshake.
Bart Lacroix, CEO of GoodUp
"We believe that social value will become just as important as economic value in the years ahead. Yet today, social impact is still organised in a highly fragmented way. By joining forces, we are building one connected ecosystem where organisations can collaborate more easily around people, resources and social value."
Gerda Deekens and Silvia Oostwegel, Founders of Social Handprint
"Many impact organisations, businesses, foundations and governments struggle with disconnected systems for impact measurement, funding and collaboration. Together, we are building smart infrastructure that makes social impact easier, more visible and more scalable."
In the coming months, GoodUp and Social Handprint will continue integrating their propositions, ecosystems and technologies. Existing services will remain fully supported, while customers will gradually gain access to new capabilities and opportunities.
